Re-Certification for InstallationMasters

InstallationMasters™ certifications began to expire in July 2004. Re-certification may be obtained by taking an open-book re-certification test and passing with a 70% or better.

Notice About Certification Expiration
The Program Administrator, Architectural Testing will contact certified InstallationMasters™ installers with complete details about registering for re-certification three months prior to their expiration date. If your contact information has changed since you enrolled in the training course, please click here to notify the Program Administrator.

Re-Certification Process Overview
Re-certification is set up on a four-year cycle. A $150 fee will apply for the re-certification test, which is open-book.  New, updated, and/or revised information related to window and door installation will be provided to re-certification candidates along with the appropriate test.
The test requires the use of the installer manual.  A replacement manual may be purchased for $65.

Re-Certification Credentials
Upon passing the re-certification exam, installers will be issued a new ID card and certificate which will expire in four years.
